For starters, i've used KVR pads on several cars, they're a good all-around pad but their ultimate stopping capacity can be bettered. The Hawk HP+ is an autocross pad, so they work well cold and get warm quickly, because you only have 60 seconds or so from start to finish. Plus they have phenomenal stopping power. They are a little more harsh than a typical street pad but not overly so. They do leave quite a bit of brake dust tho.
